Here you will find resources that you can use to help your child at home.
At MPJS, we use White Rose Maths as a basis for our teaching. You can access the website by clicking on the link.
You can also access a range of websites where you can use interactive, online manipulative tools. This will help your child to learn through a CPA (Concrete, Pictorial, Abstract) model.
There are also some help videos created by the teachers in the school. These demonstrate how we teach key aspects of mathematics.

Emile
We will be using an app called Emile as an intervention for chidlren who may need extra support or practice with their maths skills and methods. This can be downloaded for free on the app or play store. If your child is accessing Emile at school, it would also be helpful if they could spend some time on Emile at home to really secure their understanding. We are setting up log ons so that they are the same as the TT Rockstars ones. For more information on this, click the user guide below or speak to your child's class teacher.

MTC check
In Year 4, children take part in a Multiplication Tables Check. According to the National Curriculum, children will have been taught and know all of their tables up to 12 x 12 by the end of Year 4. The purpose of the check is to determine if a child can confidently recall these timestable facts. As a school, we can use this information to put support in place if needed.
